Drama and Dance

I think that out of the Art, Drama, Dance, and Music, drama has always been my favorite to participate in. Its something I feel that I'm ok in and ya, it is fun. Mostly though I like it in small groups as the larger ones cause me to be much more intimidated and I don't really participate as much. I also really enjoy the process of creating things like short skits and whatnot. Drama is where the funs at. Haha, dance on the other hand is where the scare is at. At least thats what I feel. For those who are good at dance, all I can say is ,"wow." It's not that I don't like it.... I just can't do it, and ya, it scares me. As far as watching it though I am starting to find it interesting. I even watched most of an episode the other day.... while doing homework of course. :P But ya, I kinda got into it.

Like you I agree, art/drama/dance is alot of fun, unfortunately for myself it is hard to come out of my shell and really get out there. But through teaching, I would have no choice and feel that this a great way to project ones self in an artistic manner.

Adam I agree with you! Drama is my favourite too out of the art categories! I also like smaller groups as you can feel safer and risk more.

I really like drama. I enjoy acting all the different emotions. I was really impressed with what we came up with in 2 hrs of practice for the sing-a-long. I glanced over at every one and they all looked like they were having a great time.

Adam, did you watch "Dancing with the Stars"? I think that show has helped to bring a greater admiration for dance to the general population. My closest brush with dance was a Grade 7 class I taught once, with 8 girls who had been taking dance lessons together since Kindergarten. The best thing I could do was encourage them. I remember a field trip where they worked out a dance routine as a warmup between skiing and curling!
